John Aiken
Managing Director, Head of Equity Research

John has received broad recognition for his in-depth coverage of Majestic’s Internet Media, eCommerce, and Online Travel sectors. He received a BS in Biological Statistics and Computational Biology from Cornell University with Distinction in Research and a Master’s in Operations Research concentrating in Financial Engineering from Columbia University. John has regularly been quoted in the media, including The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times and has been featured in Barron’s.

Tony Berkman
Chief Executive Officer

Tony was previously Chief Risk Officer for Tower Capital, a multi-billion portfolio of hedge funds. Prior to Tower, he was a Director of Research for the $15 billion Zweig family of funds. Tony was named to Institutional Investor‘s “Online 40” annual ranking of e-finance leaders. He is a board member of Investorside Research Association.  Tony has a BS in Applied Math & Computer Science and an MS in Computational Finance from Carnegie Mellon University. 

Greg Lederman
Managing Director, Sales

Greg was previously Vice President of Operations for TheStreet.com, where he was responsible for the operational concerns of TheStreet.com and its institutional subsidiary, IRG Research. Prior to TheStreet.com, he was with Brown Brothers Harriman. Greg has a BS in Business Administration from Boston University.

Seamus McAteer
Managing Director, Market Research

Seamus was previously Chief Product Architect at M:Metrics, a company he founded and worked with through its acquisition by comScore in 2008.  He formerly was Managing Partner at Zelos Group, a boutique advisory services firm, Research Fellow at Jupiter Communications, and a Senior Industry Analyst at SRI International.  Seamus has a BS in Management from Trinity College Dublin.

Steve Miller
Chief Financial Officer

Prior to joining Majestic, Steve worked as Senior Director of Corporate Development for Gamelogic. Previously, he was a Vice President for Comerica’s Technology and Life Sciences division and an Associate at Flatiron Partners, an Internet-focused venture capital firm. Steve began his career as a management consultant at Monitor Company.  He has a BA in Political Science from Columbia University.

Joseph Napoli
Director, Operations

Joe has over 20 years of experience in financial services and was previously Director of Operations for Hornblower Fischer & Co, where he was responsible for all facets of the firm’s broker/dealer, investment advisor, and derivative operations. Joe was also responsible for managing software development teams at Gaspra Technologies, a B2B Web-enabled solutions provider.

Jie Zhang
Director, Head of Research and Development

Jie began her career with Majestic over 5 years ago at the very early stages of the company. She was responsible for initiating a number of sectors that Majestic covers and is currently spearheading the firm’s product strategy and roadmap efforts. She received a BS and an MS in Computer Science from Tsinghua University and The University of Hong Kong and another MS in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University.
